Redbeet is looking for a driven, down to earth person who wants to join our team and help us expand the world of Raft and future titles.

More specifically, we are looking for a full time Junior 3D Artist, proficient in producing 3D art, to join our team on site in Skövde. You are expected to have a solid grasp on the full 3D production pipeline, from box modelling to sculpting, modeling and texturing. Experience and knowledge in surrounding fields and soft like animation is a strong bonus. Since Redbeet is still a small studio, it is preferable that you are comfortable working across varying areas, ranging from environmental props to creatures, hard surface etc. You are expected to take responsibility in managing your own tasks, take initiative and deliver in a timely manner. We work closely together in an open environment, meaning communication skills and a knack for teamwork is very important as you will be working with people from across different disciplines. We appreciate ideas and involvement, giving you a lot of influence over the product you are working on, and not only regarding areas specific to your field. What is it like working at Redbeet?

While Skövde might be a smaller town, it offers a lot of community and activities, especially for game developers. There are a lot of game companies here which usually makes it easy to find people if you want to talk games, play board games or grab something to drink. Game Developer Pub is a recurring evening of food, drinks and socializing hosted by Sweden Game Arena, where the industry and local game students come together at a local restaurant, and during fall industry professionals and beginners travel from all around the world to meet up at the Swedish Game Conference right here in town.

With the train track going right through the middle of Skövde, you are only one hour from Gothenburg and two hours from Stockholm.


  • Efficient in producing 3D assets, including, but not limited to sculpting, modelling and texturing.
  • Experienced using Blender 3D or ready to change from other software.
  • Experienced using the PBR workflow.
  • Experienced in photoshop.
  • Bachelor degree in game development or equivalent work experience/education.
  • Strong  communicative skills.
  • Minimum 1 years industry experience.

Desired Traits

  • Previous experience working with Stylized or Semi-Stylized art styles.
  • Previous experience with the Unity engine.
  • You are passionate about playing and making games.
  • Efficient in animation.
  • Efficiency in surrounding software like Substance Designer, SpeedTree etc.
